Eleanor and Park Review

Rating: 4/5

I picked this book up due to the fact I love Rainbow Rowell's books and how she writes her novels. This one was good but not good enough to give it a five star rating. I like the premise and how the story flowed but some elements I did not like.
First off, the plot. I liked the plot and how the story unfolded. The plot made it hard to put down. I had to know what happened to Eleanor and Park. Some parts were slow but it was a very easy read.
The characters: Eleanor is such a well written character. I loved how she was her own person and did not care what people said about her. I sympathized with her and wished she had better life than what she had. Park is a great character also he was a great person. He complimented Eleanor so well. I love the fact he also did not care about what people said about him.
The reason I rated it four was for certain parts of the novel I cannot go into without spoilers. Some parts of the novel were uncomfortable to read for me personally and that caused me to lower the rating. I loved the novel overall and as always Rainbow Rowell's writing. A must read book and one I was happy I read.

Cinder Review

I had heard about this book and had been putting off reading it for a while. I honestly wish I had not. This book lived up to the hype it received. It was everything I thought it would be,
The good:
Cinder- She was a well written character who I thought was a strong character. She knew what she wanted and she was not going to settle.
Kai- I liked him even though some of his actions annoyed me. I understood the reasons behind some of his actions but I did not approve of them.
The plot was good but sometimes a bit slow. I liked the way the story unfolded. Some plot twists I saw coming but that did not detract from the story.
The Bad:
The slow parts of the plot.
Her stepmom. What a horrible woman. I  really wanted to slap her.
Overall a good book and I really need the second book ASAP.

My Currently Reading

Summary of the book: It is about the
Polish RAF fighters during WWII and their
stories. It sheds a light on a group of fighters
who were essentially forgotten. Great and
interesting book so far.

Atticus and Granuaile are back for another
adventure in this novel. He finds his old master
on an island. While that is happening Granuaile
has to deal with her own problem. Enter other
characters and problems and there is the plot.
So far it is great book like the rest of the series.

Summary: A ship crashes and two people
survive the crash. They have to rely on each other
to survive. So far a really good book.

The third book in the Throne of glass series.
Calaeana is sent away from the kingdom
for her own good and has found some
issues with that. She must learn what
she needs to do. Great book so far.
