I am so excited for this book cause I can never have enough Riordan books. I have been reading these for years and cannot wait to get my hands on this book.(x)

Great websites to buy books for less

I love books but I love books that I got less than list price more. I always hunt for bargains because the more money I save the more books I can buy.  I usually get books from the library but when the do not have the book or I really love the author I buy them. So here are some of the sites I shop at.

Most Anticipated books of April

Today I want to talk about the top five  book releases I am most excited about in April. There are some really good books coming out this month. There are some really good sequels and last books in series. I cannot wait to read all these books.


1.The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater

This book is going to be so good and I do not want this series to end. This series is one of my favorite series of all time. April 26, 2016(x)

2.  The Rose and the Dagger by Renee Abdieh

I loved the first book and now I cannot wait for this book to come out. Like the first book it will be so good and I know I will not be able to put it down. April 26,2016(x)

3, Three Wishes by Lisa Tawn Bergren.

I loved her other books and saw that she was writing a new series, This went on my I need to read this book immediately shelf. This is going to be good. April 8, 2016 (x)

4. The Star-touched Queen by  Roshani Chokshi 

So the premise of this book looks so good. I hope it lives up to my expectations. Also the cover is so gorgeous. April 26, 2016 (x)

5.  When we collided by  Emery Lord.

I really liked the authors other books so this is going to be an automatic read. I hope it lives up to my expectations, April 5, 2016(x)

My thoughts:
I love every book written by this author so this was an automatic purchase. I love the Thunder road series so much and I could not wait to read this. This book did not disappoint me at  all.  I now really want book three of this series all ready especially because of  the main characters. This is one of my favorite books of the year. It was so good and I want to read the whole series again.  I would recommend this book to basically everybody.
The Plot:
So I really liked the plot. The only complaint I have is that I wish the book was longer. The plot did not feel rushed which was good. The characters had to get to know each so the plot being rushed helped their relationship grow.   The plot did not seem too far fetched and I loved the mystery in the story. The plot twists were few but actually helped the characters and the story  progress.
The Characters:
I really loved Razor from the first book and wanted to know why he acted so closed off.  The more I learned about Razor the more I liked him. I also felt sorry for him after what is revealed about his past.  Breanna was an interesting character that I grew to like. She did not annoy me at all like some main characters. I felt sorry for her in the family department. Razor and Breanna were a wonderful couple. There relationship did not feel rushed or that it was forced. They helped each other grow and become better people.I liked that we got to see characters from Nowhere but here  such as Oz, Emily, Chevy, and Violet. I absolutely hated Breanna's family they were so rude to her and not very supportive of her.

Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys

My thoughts:
I will read anything by Ruta Sepetys so naturally I bought this book. Since I had read her other book I knew there would be tears. This book had so good ratings that I knew I had to have it. This book did not disappoint me.
The Plot:
I liked how the plot was told through the four points of view. It added extra dimension to the plot. I liked the plot and how it gripped me. I could not put the book down( thankfully I was in a car for 14 hours so I had a lot of time to finish the book,) The author really has a talent for writing plot twists that are not easy to guess.
The Characters:
I thought each and every one contributed to moving the plot forward. Each and everyone of them have dark secrets that effect each other;'s fates. I thought each of the four voices had great character development and were not flat at all. They were complex and shaped characters.
After thoughts:
I cried after I finished it. It was so sad and so good at the same time. Everyone needs to read this wonderful book.

Most anticipated releases of March

March 2016 is a big month for book releases. There are some new books coming out and some sequels. Here are some of the books I think will be good and some sequels I am looking forward to.



I am so excited for this series to start. I love what I have read so far and cannot wait to see if it lives up to my expectations. This is one of the most anticipated books in 2016. (x)

This is the book I am looking forward to the most this month. I love Katie Mcgarry's writing and cannot wait to get this book. This series is one of my favorites and I hope the second book is as good as the first.(x)

My review:
I saw the reviews and praise for this book so I added it to my TBR pile. I finally got this book in my hands and I could not put it down. The worlds and the characters sucked me in. I cannot wait to read the sequels. One of the very few good books I have read this year. This book is deserving of all the praise and is one I would read again.
What I liked.:
First off the world building. I thought the worlds were well built and thought out which made the story even more gripping. The two different londons' and how the plot shifted through both made me like how the plot progress. The characters especially Kell were well written and I liked them. The characters enhanced the book. The plot was not too far fetched and was not predictable. I like how the story progressed and how the author paced the novel.
What I did not like:
Not much, The only thing I did not like was the book ended because I did not want it to end.
Verdict:
Everyone needs to read this book. It is awesome and well worth a read.

My thoughts:
I was really looking forward to this book since I loved Alexandra Bracken's other books. This was one big let down. It did not live up to my expectations from the author and the summary. I thought the book would pull me and I would love the characters that did not happen. I could not wait till I finished this book and got onto another.
What I did not like:
First off the main character was so boring. I just could not connect with her at all and I really tried to cause I give every character a chance. I also did not like how choppy the book was and how the plot progressed. It seemed drawn out and the book could have been shorter. Also I did not like the romance aspect. I felt like Etta and Nicholas had no chemistry and it was forced. I am not very happy with how this book came out.
The very little parts of the novel I did like:
The aspect of time travel. I also liked the cover. I thought the side characters had more substance than the main characters.

My thoughts:
I have always wanted to learn more about Lafayette so I jumped on the opportunity to read this book. It starts off with with return to America thirty years after the revolutionary war. This is when America is heading towards the civil war. He gets a hero's welcome. the book then goes into detail about his early life in France and what lead him to come and fight in the American Revolution. We get to know more about his personal life and what he did after the war.
This book was very good and very easy to read. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to read more about the revolutionary war.

Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow review

This book is about the life of a forgotten founding father, Alexander Hamilton. Most know him as the founder of the bank and for being involved in a duel wit Aaron Burr that ended his life early. This book starts out from the beginning of his life on a Caribbean island all the way to his untimely death. It finally gives Alexander Hamilton the recognition he deserves.
My review:
I love non fiction and biographies so this was the book for me. I also discovered the musical Hamilton which was based off of this book. I really liked how the author laded out the book. He chronicled Hamilton's life from beginning to the end.  He wrote Hamilton as real human being we can all relate to and realize his genius. This book did justice for a man who was forgotten for so long and now is again being recognized for how he shaped America and help found this country. This book shows how much he did for this country and how much he believed in the idea of America.
